The only thing worse than the gtrst & bassist's stage presence was the drummer's groove...& the only thing worse than the drumrs groove was the keybd patch...& the only thing worse than the keybd patch was the lead vox!! Don't even get me started on the drum sound or overall mix...
With all due respect klemme; when i was 15, I STILL would've run from this band like a crackhead leaving Sears with a "lifted" VCR...

Maybe they were a school-band of some sort, you know, once a week, one hour, play-together, with a teacher, play one gig infront of their parents, who thinks they're the best band in the world.
Final Countdown is not an Easy Tune.

But I must tell you something.
Back in Highschool, we had to open somekind of welcome ceremony where every new student would come, and we were playing the Final Countdown.
The bass part on that tune is SOO hard to lock in with - It's a struggle. getting the thing, sound NOT mechanical or digital, but having the groove swinging is a serious task!.
The Form of the tune is the next thing. It's not a blues, not a C, F, G pop tune. it has alot of parts that has to be known, and has to be build up to, in terms of sound and dynamics, a small bit of breaks too!
It's a challenging arrangement, that the swedes are known to be making for years and years!
